 Welcome to Little Vineyard Nursery School The purpose of our school is to teach the children the love of God through the Kingship of Jesus. We aim to develop and equip our children with knowledge and skills. Children need to know that others care for them and that what they say and do has value. They are special and created in the image of God and the children know their worth as individuals. We believe that every child is unique and important and we attempt to lay a foundation in your child’s life through imparting Christian values.
Our classes are small in order to give the children individualised care and attention. Little Vineyard offers a farm environment with plenty of space in which to play. The play equipment consists of various kinds of climbing apparatus, an old tractor and car, a bicycle track and many more.
We are a half day school and we offer a full Nursery School program. Our school times are from 7h30 until 12h30 each day. There is an after care facility available. We are a four term Nursery school and are closed for the school holidays.
 Daily Program
Our daily program varies for each age group but in all groups, it aims to fulfil and stimulate your child’s need to learn through play. The following areas of development are taught:
- Gross Motor skills (Walks on the farm are included)
- Language skillsMaths skills
- Pre reading, writing and spelling skills
- Creative and Imaginative skills
- Social, Emotional and Life skills
- Animal Care in our Farmyard
- Planting and maintaining of our vegetable garden
Extra-Mural Activities
We offer various kinds of extra-mural activities such as Play Tennis, Pottery, Kindermusiek, Computer skills, Monkeynastix.
